Rick Swope is a seasoned public speaker, educator, and author with decades of hands-on experience in the financial markets. His expertise spans risk management, technical analysis and market strategy and he has collaborated with executives, senior corporate leaders, and military professionals.

Rick has delivered presentations at hundreds of seminars across the United States and

internationally, including in major financial hubs such as London, Frankfurt, Dublin, Paris,

Ljubljana, Bratislava, Stockholm, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Dubai, and throughout Canada. 

He was a pioneer in online trading, providing technical analysis, trading strategy, and software

training to traders while actively managing a partnership account—often executing up to 300

trades per day. He worked closely with innovators in Small Order Execution System (SOES)

trading which brought the stock market from Wall Street to Main Street.

 

Rick has presented alongside leading financial exchanges, including the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), and International Securities Exchange (ISE). He developed the first trading education programs for major brokers Charles Schwab and E*TRADE, setting foundational standards for investor education in the industry.
